Nickel futures rise on agency spot demand

NEW DELHI: Nickel prices elevated by 0.28 per cent to Rs 1,395.40 per kg in futures commerce on Thursday as speculators constructed up recent positions amid rising demand from alloy makers within the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel contracts for the July delivery gained Rs 3.90, or 0.28 per cent, to Rs 1,395.40 per kg in a enterprise turnover of 1,358 tons.

An increase in demand within the spot market from alloy makers primarily supported the worth rise in nickel futures, analysts mentioned.
